CIPS now offer oil, diesel fuel and coolant analysis testing for your generator sets, to prevent expensive machinery and plant failure and costly downtime.
The reason we do this is to spot premature engine wear. Testing the coolant, diesel and oil will save the engine from premature breakdown and failure.
Oil testing and analysis will detect issues like carbon in the oil, bearing failure, coolant in the oil, suspended contaminants and wear debris, and if the oil needs replacing. By tracking oil analysis sample results over the life of a particular genset, trends can be established which can help eliminate costly repairs.
Coolant testing and analysis detects oil in the coolant, dirty coolant, engine overheating , iron in water due to using standard tap water instead of deionised water, and if the coolant system needs to be flushed-out and the coolant replaced.
Diesel oil testing and analysis detects old dirty diesel, fuel bug contaminants, water contamination, and if the diesel needs replacing.
Resistive Load Bank Testing onsite
CIPS also do Resistive Load Bank Testing onsite. We will test and report check your generators to make sure that they’ll produce their full power rating, plus check for and fix over-heating or other issues.
