CIPS obtained an Atlas Copco Volvo 320 kva generator set with a view to refurbishing it and putting it back into full working use. The set had just been on standby for a very long time, and it looked unused but very rusty.
CIPS’ experienced and skilled in-house engineers refurbished the generator set, repainted it, fully serviced and load tested it, and installed a new Deep Sea genset control panel, to get it back into commission.
As the set had only done a very low amount of running hours, the CIPS full service and load test made the genset as good as new. We were then able to put the generator set up for sale, and the end customer was very pleased with it.
All CIPS used generators get a full health check and service, and are ready to install. All generator shutdowns are fully tested, and we do a coolant and oil change load test and report. Automatic generator start and stop functions, generator block heater and water jackets, plus the generator battery charger also get fully tested and serviced.
CIPS provides resistive Load Bank testing on-site. We will test and report check that your generators produce their full power rating, plus check for and repair any overheating or other issues.
